Annually Ormax comes up with the top ten list of the Top Telegu and Tamil actors and actresses who are loved across the country. In the latest list, Samantha Akkineni has grabbed first place in Telugu cinema beating the likes of Kajal Aggarwal and Anushka Shetty. However, Sam slipped to second place as Nayanthara topped the Kollywood list.

In the list that counts the popularity of the southern stars across the country, Pan-India actors and actresses were seen making it on the top. However, some actors even without any Pan-India releases have secured major spots which speak volumes of their popularity. In the Telugu actors’ list, Mahesh Babu took first place beating Prabhas and Allu Arjun. Interestingly the fourth spot was occupied by Pawan Kalyan even after being away from the screen for over two years.

Coming to the actresses list, Samantha Akkineni topping lists is predictable because of the anticipation around her upcoming web series The Family Man 2 and her active social media. Kajal Aggarwal is also gearing up for Kamal Hassan’s Indian 2 and often engages with fans on social media. However, Anushka Shetty doesn’t have active social media but is seen in both Telugu and Tamil lists because of her massive fanbase. Nayanthara who topped the Tamil list doesn’t even have a social media account but her loyal fans never miss to prove that she is the true Lady Superstar.

Talking about the Tamil actor’s list, amidst the fan wars of Vijay and Ajith, Vijay was seen topping the list followed closely by Ajith. Vijay has been basking in the success of Master which became a nationwide hit. Notably, Vijay Sethupathi who played the villain in Master was at the fifth spot in the list.
