The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 Weekend Ka Vaar was a delightful mix of fun, nostalgia, and heartfelt confessions. Host Salman Khan, known for his humour and charisma, took a surprising turn during the show - addressing one of Bollywood’s most-discussed topics, his past differences with singer Arijit Singh.

Salman’s Honest Confession Wins Hearts
Comedian Ravi Gupta graced the episode as a special guest. On meeting Salman, he quipped, “I was a little nervous about meeting you.”
When Salman asked why, Ravi replied, “Because I look like Arijit Singh.”
The light-hearted comment left the audience in splits, but Salman’s response quickly turned the moment into something memorable.
With a smile, Salman said, “Arijit aur main bahut acche dost hai. Jo misunderstanding thi, meri side se thi. Uske baad usne gaane bhi kiye mere liye. Tiger me kiya tha, ab Galwan me kar raha hai.”

Story Behind the Rift
Their fallout traces back to 2014, during an award function hosted by Salman. When Arijit, dressed casually in slippers, came on stage to receive his award, Salman jokingly asked, “Were you asleep?”
To this, Arijit replied, “You guys put me to sleep.”
What began as playful banter was reportedly taken the wrong way, leading to years of tension between the two.
In 2016, Arijit took to social media to issue a heartfelt apology, requesting Salman to retain his version of a song in Sultan. Reports later claimed that Salman had dropped Arijit’s tracks from multiple projects, further fuelling speculation of a cold war.
A Bond Reborn in Music
The turning point came when Arijit Singh lent his voice to Le Ke Prabhu Ka Naam in Tiger 3 (2023), their first collaboration in years. The soulful number symbolised a fresh beginning and hinted that the rift had finally ended.
