Sadak 2 Update: Alia Bhatt Entices With Her Tum Se Hi Version, Gulshan Grover Unveils His Badman Character

Alia Bhatt today dropped the reprised version of Tum Se Hi, a song from her upcoming movie Sadak 2. The video shows the actress herself singing the song with guitar in her hand melodiously. The lyrics say "Phir us sadak se guzarna chahta hai dil. Ab us sadak ko kahaa se laun main...." While around 6.3 K people have liked it, almost double the number of viewers-14 K has given thumbs down to this song.

And it is not surprising since the trailer of Sadak 2 became the most disliked one after Sushant Singh Rajput's fans decided to trample every movie and production of star kids. Alia Bhatt is one of the most affected star kids as she is very close to Karan Johar.

Gulshan Grover Unveils His Character In Alia Bhatt's Sadak 2

The original movie starring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt in the lead had Sadashiv Amrapurkar playing the role of a transgender who heads a brothel. Amrapurkar's exceptional portrayal of the antagonist was one of the major reasons that made this movie so unforgettable. Now, for the sequel, Bollywood's own Bad Boy, Gulshan Grover is stepping in the shoes of the antagonist.

Today he unveiled his character Dilip Hathkatta in Sadak 2. Gulshan writes, "HATHKATTA will meet you at your home today in #Sadak2 on @DisneyPlusHS@DisneyplusHSVIP. HATHKATTA warns @aliaa08#AdityaRoyKapur and @duttsanjay will not safe from Dilip Hathkatta. @MaheshNBhatt@PoojaB1972." The video says, "Badman will be more Bad in Sadak 2." Old buddy Manisha Koirala was quick to offer good wishes.

Earlier the famous Bollywood actor shared some BTS from the making of Sadak 2. Gulshan Grover wrote, "Like many films in the past, Superb and my favorite director Bhatt Saab @MaheshNBhatt gave me the opportunity to be #HATHKATTA in #Sadak2. Here is the journey to DILIP HATHKATTA."

Apart from Alia Bhatt, Sadak 2 stars Aditya Roy Kapur, Pooja Bhatt and Sanjay Dutt in the lead. This will be a comeback movie for Mahesh Bhatt as a director who has been away from the direction for some time. The sequel will release on Disney plus Hotstar at 7.30 pm on 28 August 2020.
