After postponing the release date a number of times, Ranveer Singh’s 83 is finally gearing up for its release. While the movie is anticipated to be one of the biggest projects in Bollywood ever, seems like director Kabir Khan has even bigger plans for his movie. 83 is planning to go international and beyond the boundaries, here’s how.

The sports drama on Team India’s world cup victory is reportedly going to get an international spin. The film which is originally shot in Hindi will be readied in English as well.

It only makes sense to have an English version of the Bollywood film because Kapil Dev has fans across the world, so language shouldn’t bound them from watching this story of victory. Especially when it comes to cricket, viewers around the globe will be keen on watching the story of the team’s victory so an international version seems essential.

Kabir Khan’s ’83 is based on the Indian Cricket team’s 1983 world cup victory and will be hitting the theatres on 4th June.  Earlier it was reported that the film was also reportedly going to release on 25th June, as it is the same date on which the world cup victory in 1983. However, due to its date clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s Shamshera, the makers zeroed in on this new date.
