Some films linger as unfinished conversations. Rambo has been one of them, until Tiger Shroff finally drew a line under the waiting game. Speaking about what excites him most, the actor was direct and emotional: “I’m really, really looking forward to Rambo. Honestly speaking.”

A Six-Year Detour

The project’s long pause is no secret. Shroff reflected on its uncertain journey, saying, “It was six years ago, funnily enough,” recalling when the film was first revealed. What followed was a stretch of silence.

“And then, for whatever reasons, it sort of didn’t take off,” he added.

How Rambo Lived On Through Baaghi

In those missing years, Shroff carved out a reputation as Bollywood’s go-to action star. He admits that Rambo’s spirit never fully disappeared from his work.

“One Baaghi after another came and that’s pretty much Rambo in its soul,” he said, pointing out that “a lot of the key scenes from Rambo were used in Baaghi.”

A Rebuild, Not a Repeat

That overlap is exactly why the upcoming version matters. Shroff insists this isn’t about recycling old ideas.

“Now that it’s finally back into my life, [we’re] revamping it in a very big way and in a very different way,” he explained.

Growth Shapes the New Rambo

Time, he believes, has worked in the film’s favour. “It’s a very different terrain for me. It’s a very different character for me. I’m a lot more mature in that,” Shroff said, hinting at a deeper, evolved portrayal.

Risk, Reinvention, and a New Look

Fans can also expect a visual shift. “I’m hoping people like my look,” he shared. “It’s something that I’m experimenting with- taking risks and it’s not exactly what you would expect from a Rambo.”

Even earlier physical concepts have been discarded.

“That was the initial reference,” he said about the “silverback gorilla” idea, before confirming, “That’s changed now.” After six quiet years, Rambo is no longer a question mark.

According to Tiger Shroff, it’s a deliberate reinvention, designed to surprise those who think they already know his brand of action.
