From a five-year-old son to a social worker in Gujarat, the list includes people who emerged a winner despite challenging situations.

According to the desi girl, Breonna Taylor who will grace the September issue of Vanity Fair is one of her inspirations this week. The actress writes, "@VanityFair  presented Breonna Taylor on the cover of their September issue. Titled, “The Great Fire,” this issue assembled activists, artists, and writers to offer a symbol of hope."

Breonna Taylor was an African-American medical worker in Louisville, Ky. Similar to the wave of furry that caught the US after the death of George Floyd, killing of Taylor also led to protests across the city. Importantly, Taylor did not receive any medical help for 20 minutes after the police fired at her on March 13.

Another person who inspired Priyanka Chopra is Arvind Singh, a social worker from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The actress writes, "Arvind Singh, a social worker from Ahmedabad, India, facilitated the return of over 1,000 migrant workers from Ahemdabad & other parts of Gujarat to their native places in Bihar and is now working to get them back to Gujarat & resume work."

A Five-year-old Boy Who Saved His Mom Impressed PeeCee

A five-year-old boy showed immense courage for his age when his mother lapsed into a diabetic coma. Priyanka writes, "When his mom slipped into a diabetic coma, five-year-old Josh called the emergency number on the side of his toy ambulance truck. He stayed on the line until medical assistance arrived. What a brave little boy!"

The actress also includes Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash who is now the fastest human calculator in the world in her list of inspirations. Priyanka Chopra writes, "21-year-old Mathematics honors student Neelakanta Bhanu Prakash has emerged as 'the 'fastest human calculator' in the world & the first Indian to nag the gold in the Mental Calculation World Championship at Mind Sports Olympiad in London." Last but not the least on the list is the unveiling of the first statue of real-life women, featuring Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Sojourner Truth.

Priyanka Chopra is the goodwill ambassador of UNICEF. In 2010 UNICEF appointed her as the National Ambassador to promote child rights and adolescents.
