Priyanka Chopra's Powerful Speech On Women's Equality Day

Two years ago, the actress delivered a very powerful speech on Women's Equality Day. PeeCee said, "There is really really a beautiful quote that I read recently and I think its absolutely appropriate to say to explain what I'm trying to say today. The hand that rocks the cradle, the pro-creator, the mother of tomorrow, a woman, shapes the destiny of civilization. Such is a tragic irony of the fate that a beautiful creation such as a girl child is today one of the gravest concerns facing humanity. Girls have the power to change the world. It is a fact and yet today girls are more likely than boys never to set foot in the classroom. "

She added further, "Despite all the efforts and progress made over the last two decades more than 15 million girls of preschool age will never learn how to read and write compared to 10 million boys. Primary school is the beginning of our future."

Once during an interview, Priyanka Chopra told the difference between gender equality and physiological equality. While talking on the Global Education and Skill Forum she said, "When we are talking about equality we talking about cerebral equality. We are not talking about that we want to be 200 pounds like a man and beat somebody else. We are saying that you get the job, become the CEO, and you are driven at 50 and have 3 children and how you are managing it. Don't question me. I can be a CEO and a mother."
