Preity Zinta is married to an American Gene Goodenough. Despite being married to a person from another country and religion both Gene and Preity have been successful at making their marriage work. And the reason can be what the Veer-Zaara actress revealed last year in her social media post on Karwa Chauth.

Preity Zinta: He Becomes a Little Indian, I Become a Little American

The actress wrote, "Happy karva chauth to all the couples out there ❤️ Wish you all loads of love, happiness & togetherness always. I’m grateful to my better half for Indulging me by participating in everything that matters to me even though he doesn’t always understand our 1000 Indian traditions including Karva chauth🤩Just as he becomes a little Indian everyday I become a little American & together we strive to love & respect each other and our belief systems. 😍 #patiparmeshwar #hubby #happykarvachauth #soulmate #ting."

Now that is something which every couple who belong to different countries or cultures need to do to stay happily married.

Apart from being an actress Preity Zinta is also the co-owner of the IPL team Kings XI Punjab. She also is engaged in multiple endorsements and events. That is why the dimpled actress has to spend a lot of her time in India. Her husband is a financial analyst with a post-graduate degree in management. Currently, he is working as a vice-president in a leading firm. Hence, he very rarely accompanies Zinta on her tour to India.

During such times, Preity misses her husband and shares her feelings on social media. Coming to IPL 2020, Preity Zinta's team is now out of the race. The actress shared an elaborate post on how she felt about leaving Dubai.
