Prabhas and Ram Charan will reportedly be part of a science fiction movie which will be helmed by the director of Samantha Akkeneni and Keerthy Suresh starrer ‘Mahanati’, Nag Ashwin.
While the sci-fi flick is being produced by Ashwini Dutt, it is believed that the film might also be co-produced by UV creations and Ram Charan.
As per reports, the Prabhas starrer will start shooting towards the end of this year. The film will mark the celebration of 50 years of production banner Vyjayanthi Movies.
“Nag Ashwin’ story surprised me. He came up with a universally acceptable story for Prabhas. The project requires hundreds of crores of budget and only the Baahubali actor can pull off such a massive project,” Tollywood.Net quoted Ashwini Dutt as saying.
It further reported that Nag Ashwin has completed the script work of the fantasy movie and the shooting of the movie may begin towards the end of this year. However, the makers are reportedly yet to finalise a female lead for the movie.
Talking about the movie, Nag Ashwin had earlier said that it’s an original script and not a biopic or remake.
Meanwhile, the Prabhas starrer sci-fi is expected to hit the screens in summer 2022.
Rebel Star Prabhas, who gained a pan-India fan following the success of the Baahubali franchise, is currently working on his 20th film, tentatively titled Prabhas 20. The film is directed by KK Radha Krishna and produced by Gopi Krishna movies in association with UV Creations.
Beautiful and talented actress Pooja Hegde will be alongside Prabhas in the movie. Pooja, who has already spent some time with Prabhas on the set of the movie, recently revealed something interesting about the Baahubali star.
She said, “Prabhas is not at all quiet. He is the most talkative co-star I have ever worked with. He is always fun on the sets, as is always joking around and also he is a lively person.”
