The Family Man, Mirzapur, and Scam 1992 were a few web series that gave the Indian audience their OTT superstars. In the last couple of years, famous Bollywood actors like Nawajuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Bajpayee, and Pankaj Tripathi have found the stardom on the OTT that eluded them on the big screen.
Here are some interesting projects of such big OTT stars scheduled to hit the digital platform soon:
Pankaj Tripathi
Pankaj Tripathi gained fame with Gangs of Wasseypur. He was seen in many other Bollywood movies but it was web series like Mirzapur and Criminal Justice that gave him the stardom that every actor yearns for.
Criminal Justice Season 3 episodes are already streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. His yet another web series Gulkanda Tales will hit Amazon Prime on 23rd November 2022 and his most awaited Mirzapur 3 web series is expected to get a release date soon.
Manoj Bajpayee
The Family Man Season 3 is one of the most awaited web series on the OTT platform. Apart from that, the Satya fame actor will be next seen in the thriller movie Despatch In this film Manoj will be playing the character of an investigative journalist.
The movie will directly release on the OTT platform although the makers are yet to lock in a date and digital platform for the release.
Pratik Gandhi
Modern Love: Mumbai starring Pratik Gandhi released on Amazon Prime Video in May 2022. His next OTT release will be For Your Eyes Only with Kritika Kamra. The series is currently in the pre-production stage and will stream next year on Netflix. The shooting is mostly taking place in Mumbai and Chandigarh.
Ali Fazal
Ali Fazal plays an important role of Guddu in the Mirzapur series. A few months ago he shared a post revealing how he is preparing for his character in Mirzapur 3.
Apart from the third season of this hit series, Ali Fazal’s other digital project that may soon hit the OTT platform is Khufiya which will directly stream on Netflix. There are huge expectations from this neo-noir spy flick as it is being produced and directed by Vishal Bharadwaj.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui
Sacred Games was the biggest web series to hit the Indian OTT platform and even today, Nawazuddin’s character in this series is well remembered. However, later on, the Talaash actor decided to do fewer projects on OTT because he felt that the quality of content is not up to the mark on the digital platforms.
Next, he will be seen in Kangana Ranaut’s first production Tiku weds Sheru which is a dark comedy with Avneet Kaur as the female lead. The movie will directly release on Amazon Prime Video soon.
