The rift between Hero No.1 Govinda and his nephew Krushna Abhishek is no longer unfamiliar to the cine industry and fans. But the discussion surrounding cracks in the relationship between both these families once again came to the fore after a recent episode of Sony TV's popular comedy show 'The Kapil Sharma Show'.

It was claimed by several reports that star comedian Krushna Abhishek who is playing 'Sapna' in the show, felt dejected during one of the scenes in the episode, in which actors Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan had come to promote their film 'Coolie No 1', a remake of the Govinda-hit.

In the segment that is being widely discussed, Kiku Sharda and Krushna made appearance imitating Dharmendra and Sunny Deol respectively, Krushna reprimanded Kiku for something he said as part of his sketch. The 'Bhaanja of Govinda' said, "Chee chee aisi baat nahi karte (Don't talk like this)."

Immediately, Kiku Sharda took a jibe and replied, "Chi Chi to aapse baat nahi karte (Govinda doesn't even talk to you)." For those who are unaware, actor Govinda is fondly called Chi Chi, and it's his nickname.

Soon, rumours were abuzz that this particular statement created a rift between Krushna and Kiku, and an unhappy Krushna will not be a part of the show anymore.

However, when Hindustan Times contacted the duo, both of them rubbished such reports.

Speaking on Kiku's sly jibe, Krushna said, "There is no fight between me and Kiku. These are all just rumours. I love him, and I absolutely love working with him."

A similar response was obtained from Kiku - The Bachcha Yadav, who said there is nothing of that sort and that it was just a part of the script. "There is no fight at all, it’s a part of the script yaar. He (Krushna) is a dear friend and a talented boy. I enjoy working with him," Kiku stated.

He further said that scripts are discussed internally before they hit the stage, and their final motive is to entertain the audience.

Coming back to Govinda-Krushna fallout, the reason why their families are at loggerheads is reportedly a tweet by Krushna’s wife Kashmera Shah about ‘people who dance for money’ when Govinda appeared on ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’. Govinda's better half Sunita Ahuja felt the comment targeted Govinda. Krushna clarified that it was meant for his sister Arti Singh. However, the differences could not be resolved after that incident, sources said. Even in a recent episode which featured Govinda as the guest, Krishna decided to opt-out of the episode citing personal reasons.
