Tandav’s Sunil Grover On Why He Can’t Get Angry With Kapil Sharma; Movie on Gutthi and Mashoor Gulati

Sunil Grover who was earlier known for his act in the famous comedy show – The Kapil Sharma Show has now once again grabbed the limelight with his fabulous performance in Abbas Ali Zafar’s Tandav.

During an interview, the actor at length discussed Tandav, his experience of working with Saif Ali Khan, and the possibility of making a movie on his famous characters Gutthi and Mashoor Gulati. Interestingly, he also answered a couple of questions on Kapil Sharma during rapid fire.

When the Bollywood Hungama’s host asked him which quality of Kapil Sharma he likes the most, Sunil Grover said, “His Promptness.” During the rapid-fire, the Bharat actor answered that he cannot get angry with his former comedy show colleague because Kapil is funny.

Sunil Grover Loved The Flow of Tandav’s Script, Calls Saif Ali Khan Passionate Actor

While the famous standup comedian denied that his role in Tandav was the best he has been offered to date, he did love the flow of Tandav’s script. According to Sunil, he earlier felt that being a political thriller its script would be complicated and would need a lot of preparation.

But its easy flow and twists and turns made it more interesting for him. Sunil Grover called Saif Ali Khan a passionate and dedicated actor who works very hard to execute the scene the way he wants. Sunil said, “I can write an essay appreciating Saif Ali Khan. All his scenes are always ready and he is eager to keep on experimenting. Despite being so experienced he is always motivated to do better.”

Then it was time to discuss his two famous characters-Gutthi and Mashoor Gulati. According to Sunil, playing Gulati was more difficult for him than Gutthi. When asked if a movie with these two characters in the lead is made what would be its title at first, Sunil Grover said that he does not think that anyone would be interested in making such a movie.

But if at all it is made its title can be Tandav or Hum Tum Ek Kamre Mein Banda Ho.
