King: SRK wraps grand Vijayadashami shoot as Suhana Khan pulls off action stunts in film said to include '70% Industry'

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to return to the big screen with the much-awaited film King, one of the most talked-about projects currently in production. The action thriller has been filming across multiple locations, and its latest schedule has just wrapped up at Ellora Studios in Mira-Bhayandar.

Festival-Sized Sequence Comes to Life

According to a report by Mid-Day, the team recently completed an intensive eight-day shoot featuring both Shah Rukh Khan and his daughter Suhana Khan. The sequence reportedly unfolds during grand Vijayadashami celebrations and was filmed on an elaborate set specially constructed for the scene.

An insider revealed, "The team recreated the scale and energy of a Vijayadashami procession with drums, colors, and the frenzy that is seen on the immersion day."

Suhana Khan Steps Into Action

The shoot, spread across eight nights, reportedly involved a massive crowd of background performers to recreate the festive atmosphere. Father and daughter filmed key moments amid the vibrant celebrations, adding scale and intensity to the scene.

The source shared further details about the demanding shoot: "Shah Rukh and Suhana shot with a huge crowd, consisting of hundreds of background performers, across eight nights. Suhana also performed several stunts."

The sequence is expected to be one of the film’s most visually striking moments, blending action with the grandeur of Indian festival traditions.

A Massive Ensemble for a Mega Action Film

Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is particularly special as it marks the big-screen debut of Suhana Khan alongside her father. The film boasts a star-studded ensemble that includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, Jaideep Ahlawat, Saurabh Shukla, Raghav Juyal and Abhay Verma.

King Includes 70% of The Industry!

Speaking about the scale of the project, veteran actor Saurabh Shukla hinted at the enormous lineup of performers. In an interview with Hindi Rush, he joked that "70 per cent of the industry" seems to be involved in the film.

Emphasizing the same idea, he added, "Not just me, King has 70 per cent of the film industry. Every name that is big enough, they are all there."

Shukla also praised SRK’s personality, describing him as both "great" and "charismatic", while reflecting on his own role in the film. 

He remarked, "In King, whatever I have done, it is all quite memorable."

With a massive cast, high-octane action, and festival-scale visuals, King is gearing up for a grand theatrical release during Christmas this year.
