With the release date of the most awaited movie of the year, KGF Chapter 2 inching closer, Neel and Yash are leaving no stones unturned to make it picture-perfect. The sequel took two years to be made and is the most expensive Kannada movie to ever be made. However, recently an update related to the Yash starrer has hit the surface which has left some fans disappointed.

The Kannada Big-Budget film is going to be released in various languages across the country and world. Usually when a film is dubbed into other languages then it stands a risk to sound unnatural which can be a setback. Southern superstars like Rajnikanth and Ram Charan often take this route which affects their Hindi-speaking audience. As per earlier reports, it was said that Yash decided not to do the same mistake of getting a dubbing artiste for his Hindi dialogues. He was planning to dub for himself and also perfecting his Hindi accent for the same.

However, much to fans’ disappointment that might not be the case as reportedly Yash has refused to dub himself for the Hindi version. As per the buzz, the reason the Kannada star saying no was because he was worried that his Hindi accent won’t sound perfect on the big screen and can be difficult for the viewers to understand. Instead of Yash, the makers are going to robe in popular dubbing artist Sanket Mhatre to be the voice of Rocky Bhai in KGF Chapter 2. He has been the voice of many South superstars like Junior NTR, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and so on.

For the uninitiated, the Rocking star is returning with the sequel to his 2018 blockbuster, KGF Chapter 1. The Kannada film, set between the 1950s to 1980s, is a period crime drama set against the backdrop of the Kolar goldfields. Yash will be back as Rocky Bhai, the flamboyant retro don against Sanjay Dutt as Adheera, the antagonist. The film is set for a Pan- India release on 16th July 2021.
