While gearing up for the massive release of KGF Chapter 2, Prashanth Neel is already caught up shooting his next magnum opus, Salaar. Both the films are expected to shatter all the previous box office records. Except for sharing the same director, the Yash and Prabhas starrers also share one more major common link.
Recently, Prashanth Neel who is riding high on success pointed out a common factor between KGF Chapter 2 and Salaar. Where the two larger-than-life films cross paths is when it comes to music. The stunning music of both films will be by music director, Ravi Basrur.

Meanwhile, Rocking star returns with the sequel to his 2018 blockbuster, KGF Chapter 1. The Kannada film, set between the 1950s to 1980s, is a period crime drama set against the backdrop of the Kolar goldfields. Yash will be back as Rocky Bhai, the flamboyant retro don against Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist. The film will witness a Pan- India release on 16th July 2021.

On the other hand, Salaar will be an underworld action thriller featuring South star Prabhas and Shruti Hassan. The film is set to release theatrically on April 14, 2022.
