Why Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham still inspires
Released in 2001, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham revolves around a wealthy family torn apart when the patriarch disowns his adopted son for marrying outside their social class. At the time, it was one of the most expensive Indian films ever made and went on to become a massive box-office success. More than two decades later, its characters remain pop-culture icons, continuing to inspire fan edits, memes, and now AI-powered reinterpretations that keep the film firmly in the spotlight.
