Los Angeles: Michael Jackson`s personal physician Conrad Murray has been convicted of involuntary manslaughter in the singer`s death in 2009. In a lengthy trial that lasted six-weeks, a Los Angeles County jury found Murray guilty of administering propofol to Jackson.

The jury found that Murray, 58, acted with criminal negligence, which led to Jackson`s death. They rejected the argument of defence that the singer gave himself an overdose of propofol and therefore was responsible for his own death, the Los Angeles Times reported.
