Ishaan Khattar Forced To Move On After Janhvi's Fondness For Akshat Ranjan

Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar debuted in Bollywood with Dharma Productions Dhadak and ever since their names have been linked up with each other. The two were sighted going to social events and even functions with each other. What’s more, Janhvi made Ishaan a part of her family as she kept on inviting him for her family events. The Gunjan Saxena actress even invited Ishaan’s brother Shahid Kapoor and his wife Mira Rajput for dinner once.

So everything was going cosy and it was supposed that the rumors about their affair were indeed true. Arjun Kapoor even said that Ishaan is constantly buzzing around Janvhi during an interview on Koffee With Karan. But suddenly in the past few months, there has been no news about the two. According to a news source, Ishaan was the one who decided to move on after he found out that Janhvi was still in touch with her ex-boyfriend and things between the two were warming up yet again.

Is It Akshat Ranjan Or Shikhar Pahariya?

Janhvi Kapoor’s first boyfriend was Shikhar Pahariya, the maternal grandson of Union Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde. The actress was very close to him but when her lip-lock pictures with Shikhar became viral Sridevi was livid. It was the early days of the year 2016 and the Indian superstar was still trying to find a top-class production house for launching her daughter. She did not want Janhvi to get entangled in a serious relationship at this stage and put on a no-dating clause.

It snubbed the budding Shikhar and Janhvi relationship. But tongues started wagging yet again when Janhvi was spotted with Akshat Ranjan at the screening of Dear Zindagi. Noteworthy was the fact that Sridevi was also spotted accompanying the duo on another occasion.

Many believed that it was Shikhar Pahariya but later on the confusion was cleared when the boy with Janhvi was identified as Akshat Ranjan who was then studying International Relations, with Entrepreneurial Leadership and Film and Media Studies at the Tufts University.

Both Akshat and Janhvi even declared love for each other on social media. Later on, as Akshat continued his studies abroad and Janhvi started shooting for her debut movie Dhadak with Ishaan, the two drifted apart and the actress got close with the Khaali Peeli actor.

But now it seems both Akshat and Janhvi are fast catching up with each other making up for the lost time. The actress even shared a picture couple of months ago from Lonavala where she is spending special moments with her childhood sweetheart Akshat. This seems to have enraged Ishaan who has now decided to move on and focus on his career instead.
