Indian Idol 12 is topping the TRP charts due to the set of contestants this year who have kept the viewers hooked to their screens. With Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, and Himesh Reshammiya as judges, the much-awaited finale of Indian Idol 12 was inching closer. However, due to the pandemic, the beloved judges will not be seen in the upcoming episodes which has left the fans heartbroken. The show will be going through some major changes in the upcoming episodes – some good and some might be upsetting for the viewers.
As the Maharashtra government has stopped all shoots owing to the surge in Pandemic in Mumbai, makers will be shifting their shoot to Daman. The judges’ trio however wouldn’t be able to travel due to their prior commitments thus a new panel consisting ex-Indian Idol judge and composer Anu Malik and lyricist Manoj Muntashir will be replacing them. Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya, and Vishal Dadlani may be joining the show if the shoot resumes in Mumbai but if the plans don’t work out, the trio will hopefully be seen directly in the finale. As of now, the audience will have to adjust to the void of watching the show without the much-loved judges’ panel.

Meanwhile, Aditya Narayan, who took a break from the show after testing Covid positive, is back to the show as a host. Much after the audience’s demand, Pawandeep Ranjan, who was away from the Indian Idol stage as he was down with Covid, also returns. Indian Idol 12’s favorite couple Pawandeep and Arunita will be finally seen performing to hit duets together after a long time.
