The first official trailer for The Bluff has dropped, giving audiences a hard-hitting look at Priyanka Chopra Jonas in a fierce new avatar for the upcoming action thriller on Prime Video. 

The film’s preview places her at the centre of brutal combat and high-stakes survival as she fights to protect her family in a story filled with raw intensity and adrenaline-pumping sequences.

The Bluff: Plot & More

In the trailer, Chopra plays Ercell “Bloody Mary” Bodden, a former pirate who has tried to leave her violent past behind.

Living a quiet life with her loved ones on a remote stretch of Caribbean coast, her world is upended when an old nemesis, played by Karl Urban, resurfaces with ruthless intent. 

The peaceful scene quickly turns to chaos as armed attackers invade her home, forcing her to unleash her lethal skills.

The footage shows a tense opening shift from calm domesticity to fierce combat, with Chopra’s character initially overwhelmed by the attackers. But when her daughter’s safety is jeopardised, her survival instincts kick in and she counters with brutal efficiency. 

The trailer highlights her uncompromising resolve, turning the tables on her foes with brutal strikes and calculated force.

The Bluff is set in the late 19th-century Caribbean and follows Bodden as she confronts the dangerous legacy of her past while protecting her family from a relentless threat.

Produced by Russo Brothers’ AGBO and Amazon MGM Studios, the film promises a gritty blend of swashbuckling adventure and intense action sequences, breaking new ground for Chopra’s action repertoire.

The film is scheduled to premiere on February 25, 2026, exclusively on Prime Video, and also features performances by Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison in pivotal roles.
