Priyanka Chopra’s The Bluff skips theatres, set for direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video

Priyanka Chopra’s long-awaited action-adventure film The Bluff is all set to premiere directly on Amazon Prime Video on February 25, 2026, bypassing a theatrical release. The film stars Priyanka Chopra in the lead, alongside Karl Urban, best known for his role in The Boys.

The ensemble cast also includes Ismael Cruz Córdova, Safia Oakley-Green and Temuera Morrison. The film is backed by the Russo Brothers, the acclaimed duo behind Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.

What Is The Bluff About?

Set in the 19th-century Caribbean, The Bluff is a gritty, swashbuckling pirate saga that has earned an R rating for its intense violence and graphic combat. Priyanka plays Ercell ‘Bloody Mary’ Bodden, a former pirate who has left her violent past behind to protect her family. However, her past resurfaces when her old crew, led by her former lover played by Karl Urban, hunts her down for revenge and stolen gold.

The film promises a blend of brutal action, emotional family stakes and visually rich Caribbean backdrops, including locations in the Cayman Islands. Viewers can expect sword fights, tactical traps, hand-to-hand combat and high-intensity action sequences throughout the narrative.
