Dhanush celebrates his 37th birthday today. He will be next seen in Aanand L. Rai’s Bollywood movie Atrangi Re which also stars Sara Ali Khan and Akshay Kumar. Sara would be working for the first time with a South Indian superstar. During an interview, she shared her views on working with Dhanush, his movies she loved, and more.
According to Sara Ali Khan she has watched 4 to 5 movies of Dhanush. She says, “I have watched Raanjhanaa, Asuran, Vada Chennai, Maari 2, and Rowdy Baby song. Whosoever has not watched it please watch it. Dhanush is outstanding.”
Dhanush Is So Humble, Says Sara
The team of Atrangi Re had already started shooting in Benaras. But they were forced to stop it due to lockdown. The Kedarnath actress reveals some of the important things that she learned about Dhanush during that short shooting schedule.
Sara says, “Dhanush is so humble and well-mannered actor. More importantly, he is so so talented. He is so much into music. He has done a lot of South Indian music also. I have also started singing it because I insisted he Whatsapp me. So I do a workout on it sometimes. He composes music, sings songs, writes, acts, and does it all so well.”

Sara Ali Khan thinks that Dhanush is simply amazing and is a one-take or two-take actor who knows exactly what he is doing. The actress goes on to add that even though her schedule with Dhanush for Atrangi Re was very short she enjoyed it.
Atrangi Re will be the third Bollywood movie for Dhanush. He made his debut in the Hindi film industry with Aanand L Rai’s Raanjhanaa. This film with Sonam Kapoor in the female lead did very well at the box office. However, his next titled Shamitabh with Amitabh Bachchan directed by R. Balki tanked. So if Dhanush wants to establish himself in Bollywood he needs one big hit. Fans are hoping that Atrangi Re will do that trick for him. The team reportedly will resume shooting in October this year.
