GoT's Sophie Turner and Coldplay’s Chris Martin the new power couple? London outing sparks dating buzz

Rumours are swirling around Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin after the two were spotted enjoying what insiders call a “secret date” in London. Their unexpected outing has fuelled speculation that both stars - newly single after high-profile splits - may have found comfort in each other’s company.

The sighting comes just weeks after Turner’s breakup with British aristocrat Peregrine “Perry” Pearson, and months after Martin reportedly ended his eight-year relationship with actress Dakota Johnson. 

From Heartbreak to Fresh Beginnings!

According to a Daily Mail report, sources close to the pair revealed that Sophie Turner and Martin connected soon after their respective separations. The timing has only added intrigue, with both said to be “enjoying each other’s energy” during this new chapter. Turner, a self-confessed Coldplay fan, once received a birthday greeting from Martin in a video organized by her ex-husband Joe Jonas - a gesture that delighted the actress and hinted at her long-standing admiration for the musician. 

Currently, Martin is spending time in London, performing for Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres tour at Wembley Stadium, where he and Turner are said to have met privately.

Their Exes Move On

While Turner appears to be exploring new horizons, her ex, Perry Pearson, has also sparked chatter after being spotted in West London with a mysterious blonde described as a “Sophie lookalike.” Martin, too, has a well-documented romantic history. Before Dakota Johnson, he was famously married to Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares two children - Apple and Moses.

Turner, meanwhile, shares two daughters with her ex-husband Joe Jonas, whom she married in 2019 before finalizing their divorce in September 2024.
