TVK Flag Sparks Violent Clash
Amid the festive atmosphere, one incident took a disturbing turn. A clip now circulating online captures a scuffle inside a theatre lobby where a man was allegedly attacked by a group. The confrontation reportedly began after he waved a flag representing Vijay’s political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), during the screening.
The footage shows several people assaulting him, tearing his shirt, and pushing him out of the premises while onlookers cheered. The location has been identified as Pandian Cinemas in Karaikudi. Polimer News later verified details related to the episode.
