Similar Threats to Other Tamil Stars

The scare follows a recent email received by the DGP from an unidentified sender claiming a bomb had been planted at actor Arun Vijay’s home in Ekkattuthangal. Intensive checks by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) and police officials found nothing suspicious.

Just days earlier, the residences of other Tamil stars- Vijay, Trisha, and Nayanthara- also faced similar hoax threats, keeping the police force on constant alert.

City-wide Security Tightened

Authorities had their hands full as pranksters sent out multiple fake bomb warnings, mentioning at least ten potential targets across Chennai. The list even included the residences of Tamil Nadu Governor R N Ravi and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. Teams from BDDS, sniffer dogs, and police units swept through every suspected site, but no explosives were detected.

Professional Endeavours

On the professional front, Ajith was last seen in Vidaamuyarchi directed by Magizh Thirumeni and Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly this year. Buzz suggests that he may soon reunite with Adhik for AK64.

On the other hand, Ramya Krishnan is currently basking in the success of Baahubali: The Epic.
