Disha Patani And Tiger Shroff Are Heading Towards Dead-end?

Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff are the most popular stars of the current lot. Even though both of them have never really confirmed their affair, it is now quite obvious as Tiger and Disha are always there for each other. Tiger was present at the screening of Disha’s “Malang.” Similarly, Disha has been there with Tiger at the success party of “War” with both of them going together as a couple. At the personal front, their feelings for each other seem real and their relationship is going very strong.

But coming to their career choices, it seems that they both are headed towards a dead-end. Many actors or actresses did quite well at the start but could not retain success due to wrong professional choices. The same seems to be happening with Disha and Tiger. Although things seem to be working well as of now for them, the future does not seem to be too good.

Disha Is Salman’s Next Heroine

As is known, a female leading star has not much to do in any of the Salman Khan movies. That is why most of the leading female stars avoid working with him. From Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Deepika Padukone to Kangana Ranaut neither is ready to work with Salman because the actresses never get a meaty role in the film. After working with Salman Khan in the song “Slow Motion” for “Bharat” now Disha is shooting for “Radhe” as the lead co-star.

Most of the actresses of the “Bajrangi Bhaijan” actor have failed to do well on their own. Be it Daisy Shah, Zareen Khan, or Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonakshi Sinha, all these actresses are now finding it difficult to get good projects in Bollywood. Even though Sonakshi has managed to survive, she is nowhere near the success achieved by her contemporaries like Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Deepika.

The last movie of Disha with Aditya Roy Kapur, “Malang” could not do any magic at the box-office. She was last seen in “Baaghi 3” doing an item song “Do you love me” looking very sensuous. But that is all that Disha has managed to achieve in the last few years since she came to Bollywood. Even today, big banners are reluctant to sign her and do not consider the actress good enough for a meaty role.

Will Tiger Go The Sunny Deol Way?

“Bagghi 3” of Ahmed Khan released last month did well at the box-office. Even Tiger’s earlier movie “War” under YRF banners that he shared with Hrithik Roshan was a big box-office success. However, most of its credit went to the “Jodha Akbar” actor who continues to win hearts with his handsomeness and ease be it acting, dancing or action. Tiger, on the other hand, has never been able to grace the romantic genre properly and his big project “Student of the year 2” that launched Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria tanked at the box-office.

Tiger himself said that people accept him only in action roles after the failure of SOTY 2 and he will continue to focus only on such movies. He even said some time ago, “I love that feeling because getting an identity of an action hero or dancing hero gives me feeling that I have got some acceptance from the audience. So for me, that’s a victory.”

But this can be detrimental to his success in the future similar to Sunny Deol who could not do well as an action hero after some time and was forced to sit at home. Even Akshay Kumar, who became popular as an action hero, tried his hands at comedy and meaningful character-oriented films and continues to remain a saleable star even after three decades.

If Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff fail to make smart choices and decisions they may have to face a dead-end. Disha will have to rise above her fitness videos, sexy ads and item songs to establish herself as a leading actress whereas Tiger will have to pick up some interesting roles that are different from the action genre.
