The adrenaline around Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge just got sharper. Actor Yami Gautam is reportedly set to make a striking special appearance in the much-awaited sequel, adding another layer of intrigue to the action-heavy narrative.

According to recent buzz, the actor has already wrapped up nearly five days of shooting. While brief, her role is said to carry significant weight, blending intensity with impact.

Yami’s Cameo Details

Industry whispers hint that Gautam’s character isn’t just a fleeting presence but a key pivot in the storyline.

A report by PinkVilla quoted a source as saying, "Yami’s role is action-packed and extremely crucial to the narrative. She has already shot for nearly 5 days, and though it’s a cameo, it’s an important part that will leave the audience amazed."

A Script That Left Her Wanting More

Beyond the cameo, Yami has previously spoken about how deeply Aditya Dhar’s storytelling moved her. Recalling her first reaction to the script, she shared how rare it felt to encounter such a gripping cinematic world.

During an interview with News18 Showsha, she said, "When I read his (Aditya Dhar's) next script, I told him that it was one of those rare moments when I wished I was a guy. The script is so brilliant. It’s such an amazing world." 

Keeping Work and Personal Life Separate

Even though she shares a personal bond with the director, Yami has always stressed the importance of professionalism on set. For her, clear boundaries are essential to creative collaboration.

She said, "Regardless, I don’t have that expectation. We respect that professional line. I don’t think that line should be blurred. We’re very clear about it."

The sequel’s teaser, unveiled recently, has already sparked excitement ahead of its March 19 release. Helmed by filmmaker Aditya Dhar, the film features a powerful ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
