Deepika Padukone was found struggling to get inside her car as street vendors and beggars on the streets of Mumbai tried to get closer to her. While a few of them were supposedly selling tissues urging Deeps to buy some from them, one of them tried to get a hand on her purse as she crouched to get inside her car.
The crowd got so close to her that she had to struggle and find a way to reach her car.
Fans Slam Lapses in Deepika Padukone's Security
Her vehicle was standing just a few steps away from the place she came out. Still, the security personnel could not stop the crowding. It left many Deepika Padukone fans in disgust.
It is quite normal for street vendors and beggars to leap towards the celebrities whenever they are sighted on Mumbai streets during their outings.
Fans were worried and questioned, "Why are people pulling her bag? This is scary." Another follower said, "What sort of security is this? She only went from the door to the car n people were throwing themselves on her n pulling her bag very poor security."
Even the paparazzi people who were clicking Deepika requested her to look inside her purse as they thought someone among the crowd could have taken away something.
The diva was also spotted with hubby Ranveer Singh leaving a studio after completing a photoshoot.
Career-wise, things are going great for Deepika Padukone. She was last seen in Chhapaak. She will be next seen in YRF's Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan, with Prabhas in Nag Ashwin's untitled movie, and Shakun Batra's next with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Ananya Panday.
The Chennai Express star is also doing a cameo in Ranveer Singh's biopic on Kapil Dev titled 83. It will release on 4 June 2021.
