The recently released promo dropped on Thursday offers a glimpse into the show’s latest storyline, transporting viewers to the unusual village of Ghoonghatganj. In this village, women remain behind veils and the locals worship an “ideal, cultured woman,” whose word carries unquestioned authority. Adding to the mystery is an old British-era mansion that belongs to Manmohan Tiwari’s affluent aunt.

One Condition That Changes Everything

Tiwari ji’s aunt summons him to Ghoonghatganj and asks him to take charge of her mansion and property. However, she sets a clear condition- she wants Tiwari ji’s wife to be modern, just like her. This demand puts Tiwari ji in a fix, as his wife Angoori Bhabi is loved for her innocence and famously struggles with English.

The Classic Wife Swap Returns

To secure the inheritance, Tiwari ji hatches a plan that sets the comedy rolling. He swaps wives with his neighbour Vibhuti Narayan Mishra. As a result, Tiwari ji introduces Aneeta Bhabi as his sophisticated, modern “fair madam,” while Vibhuti ends up with Angoori Bhabi. The deception marks the beginning of a new chapter of misunderstandings and comic chaos.

From Laughter to ‘Stree’-Style Spooks

Both couples arrive in Ghoonghatganj, but their problems multiply soon after. The revered “cultured woman” of the village senses something amiss and becomes furious. What follows is a sharp shift in tone as the story slips into a ‘Stree’-style spooky journey, blending fear with humour in a signature Bhabiji fashion.

OG Angoori Bhabi Makes a Comeback

One of the biggest highlights of the new season is the return of Shilpa Shinde as Angoori Bhabi. She originally played the character nearly a decade ago and made it immensely popular before exiting the show following a dispute with the makers. The role was later taken over by Shubhangi Atre.
