Telegu Superstar Prabhas who captivated the nation with Bahubali is now wining hearts for making India greener.
The Rebel star has adopted 1,650 acres of reserve forest on the outskirts of Hyderabad for which he handed over a cheque of Rs. 2 crore to the Forest Department for the development of the forest, known as the Khazipally reserve forest.
Prabhas was accompanied by Telangana Forest Minister Allola Indra Karan Reddy and Rajya Sabha MP Joginapally Santosh Kumar when he laid the foundation stone for an urban forest.
They inspected the reserve forest from a temporary watch tower and later planted a few saplings.
Later Prabhas took to social media to share this initiative by him. He said, “I've taken the initiative to adopt and develop 1650 acres of Kazipalli Reserve Forest. Having always been a nature lover, I believe this would create an additional lung space for the city. #Prabhas #GreenIndiaChallenge”
