This time, he didn’t just try; he aced the viral Tauba Tauba hook step, the same one that made Vicky Kaushal a social media sensation, and that too in just three minutes!

Dancing Dreams Come True!

On Monday, veteran actor Anupam Kher shared a video on Instagram showing him learning the Tauba Tauba hook step from choreographer Ceaser of the famed Bosco-Ceaser duo at a gym. After a few quick attempts, the 70-year-old actor executed the move with remarkable confidence and charm.

In his caption, Kher reflected on his creative journey: “I have tried almost everything as an actor (even learnt swimming at 68) and am still working on my craft! But I have deliberately stayed away from DANCING because I can’t dance. What you’ve seen me doing in my song sequences is simply me enjoying the situation. But last month, I decided to LEARN dancing. And I did my first class last week! Then I met Ceaser in the gym and told him about my dream.” (sic)

He further added, “He laughed first, then taught me a difficult hook step in just three minutes 🤓. So here’s my first-ever dance video. Now we’ll see what Vicky Kaushal says. Don’t laugh, encourage. Jai Ho!” (sic)

Vicky Kaushal’s Heartwarming Reaction

Vicky Kaushal, who originally popularized the hook step in Tauba Tauba, was among the first to react. Sharing Kher’s video on his Instagram Story, he wrote, “I took a day to learn what you learnt and aced in 10 seconds… absolutely amazing sir!!! @anupamkher.” (sic)

Choreographer Bosco Martis, who created the iconic moves for Tauba Tauba, also dropped a comment: “Sir, I love you! I wish we had half the energy you have.” (sic)
