Tollywood’s Icon Star Allu Arjun continues his unstoppable global march as Pushpa 2: The Rule expands its footprint to Japan. The film, which shattered box-office records worldwide, is now set to release in Japanese theatres this Friday, January 16.

With a staggering worldwide collection of over ₹1780 crore and nearly ₹1230 crore net from India alone, Pushpa 2 has cemented its place among the highest-grossing Indian films of all time. More than a year after its original release, the film’s popularity shows no signs of slowing down.

A Star’s Welcome at Tokyo Airport

On Tuesday, Allu Arjun arrived in Tokyo and was greeted with an enthusiastic reception by fans at the airport. The actor later took to Instagram Stories to confirm his arrival, instantly sending fans into a frenzy.

Soon after, the film’s official social media handle shared a video capturing the electrifying moment. 

Fans were seen lining up with flower bouquets and Pushpa posters, eagerly waiting to catch a glimpse of their favourite star.

Fans, Flowers and Warm Interactions

As the clip unfolds, Allu Arjun is seen arriving alongside his wife and daughter. Fans excitedly clicked pictures on their mobile phones, while others stepped forward to present bouquets to the actor and his wife. Known for his warmth, Bunny acknowledged the crowd with smiles and brief interactions, making the moment memorable for those gathered. The video also offered fleeting visuals of Tokyo city as the family exited the airport, adding a cinematic touch to the welcome.

What’s Next for the Icon Star 

Riding high on the historic success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun has already moved on to his next ambitious venture. He is currently occupied with filmmaker Atlee’s sci-fi project, tentatively titled AA22xA6, which stars Deepika Padukone as the female lead.

Industry buzz suggests the actor may be seen in a quadruple role, with names like Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Bhagyashri Borse linked to the project. Reports also hint at appearances by Tiger Shroff, Vijay Sethupathi, and Ramya Krishnan. However, no official confirmations have been made yet.
