The rough cut of Alia Bhatt Ranbir Kapoor's movie Brahmastra is almost ready. Recently one of its producers Fox Star Studios came up with a major suggestion for the film.

According to Movies Buzz, Fox Star Studios suggested, "The rough cut is ready with a run time closer to 3 hrs, fox star studio suggested the team to cut it down by at least 30 mins keeping in mind the changing consumption pattern of the audiences, thereby making the film a memorable experience."

Most probably the suggestion has been made keeping in mind the growing popularity of OTT releases. The movies released on web spaces usually do not have a run-time beyond 2.5 hours. During the lockdown, since there were no theatrical releases, movie buffs were quite hooked to the content released on OTT channels like Netflix, Amazon Prime, and Disney Plus Hotstar.

Keeping in mind the growing inclination of today's audience for short and crisply-edited content Fox Star Studios may have suggested Ayan this change in Brahmastra.

Alia Bhatt Ranbir Kapoor to Shoot For Remaining Portion of Brahmastra Next Month

Alia and Ranbir have almost completed shooting for their first movie together. But even then a small portion is remaining. Most probably Amitabh Bachchan will join the real-life couple during the next schedule of shooting which will take place in November this year.

According to reports, the final schedule will include some talkie scenes and a song. This portion will be shot during a brief schedule of around 10 days. Reports also suggest that Dharma Productions and Fox Star Studios want to release the movie during the summer weekend of next year. Earlier the movie was expected to release in December this year.

According to a leading entertainment portal, "The rough cut is ready with just some visual effect work pending now, which is going on in full swing. The sequences that remain to be shot won’t require too much of post-production, thereby enabling the team to lock the final edit quickly after the wrap and release the film.”
