Akshay Kumar Says His Movie Promotions Are Incomplete Without The Kapil Shama Show

Akshay Kumar will soon return to The Kapil Sharma Show along with his co-star Kiara Advani. The two will promote their upcoming movie Laxmmi Bomb scheduled for release during Diwali this year.

Along with Akshay and Kiara, transgender activist Laxmi Narayan Tripathi will also be a part of the show. The photograph of these three from the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show recently surfaced online. Akshay himself shared the picture on his Twitter account.

The superstar wrote, "Three’s not always a crowd! Team #LaxmmiBomb with the real Laxmi on sets of #TheKapilSharmaShow today!"

Akshay Kumar Is First Reigning Megastar To Return to The Kapil Sharma Show

Kapil Sharma took to Twitter to thank Akshay and the entire team of Laxmmi Bomb for the fun during shooting. The famous standup comedian wrote, "Thank you for all the love n fun we had on shoot after so long paji. u were on fire s always.. lots of love n respect best wishes to u n the whole team of #LaxmiBomb #LaxmiBombontkss #TheKapilSharmaShow."

Incidentally, Akshay Kumar is the first reigning megastar to return to The Kapil Sharma Show for promoting a movie after the lockdown. The fresh episodes started airing a couple of months ago. But big actors like Ajay Devgn or Salman Khan did not appear on the show because there were no new theatrical releases.

Yesterday the much-awaited  Burj Khalifa song from the movie Laxmmi Bomb was released to an overwhelming response. While Akki fans are appreciating the entire video, SSR fans continue to trend #BoycottLaxmmiBomb.

The movie will release on Disney + Hotstar in India on 9 November. It will release in theaters on the same day in UAE, Australia, and New Zealand.
