Mumbai: Actor Sonu Sood, who shot to fame with his role of Chhedi Singh in `Dabangg`, will become a producer with his upcoming comedy-action film `Lucky Unlucky`. Sonu has floated a production company with his friend Ajay Dhama and will be called `Sonu Sood Productions`.
The actor-turned-producer has already locked a script and the film will go on floors in February 2012. The film is scheduled to be released by the middle of the next year. "I am producing this film titled `Lucky, Unlucky`. I will also be acting in it. The film is comedy-action-adventure type. It is set in north India-- UP, Delhi and Haryana," Sonu told PTI.
The 38-year-old has finalised Mallika Sherawat as the leading lady for the film. About the film, Sonu said, "The film is a journey of two people. How their lives changes after they meet. One can say it is blend of `Jab We Met` and `Dabangg`. I am `Unlucky` character in the film, while Mallika is `Lucky`."
