Rajkumar Hirani’s PK starring Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma was a blockbuster hit back in 2014 and still remains the audience’s favorite even today. Now according to the latest buzz, the sequel of the movie is in plans and ready to be in making with Ranbir Kapoor taking the centre stage.
As we all remember, PK ended with a small cameo of Ranbir Kapoor landing on the planet along with Aamir Khan where he seems to be curious to explore Earth but is warned by Aamir. The sequel of the film will take the story forward from there and focus on the journey of Ranbir Kapoor now.
This surprising news was confirmed by the producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra himself but he also shared that the film hasn’t been written yet. Vidhu revealed to Mid Day, “We will make the sequel. We had shown Ranbir Kapoor‘s character landing on the planet towards the end of the film, so there is a story to tell. But Abhijat Joshi, the writer, has not written it yet. The day he writes it, we will make it,”

If things go as per plans, this will mark the second collaboration between Ranbir and Rajkumar Hirani after Sanju. It is not confirmed yet if Aamir Khan or the previous cast like Anushka and Boman will be joining the sequel or not.
PK smashed records not only in India but also in international markets like China. The film also featured the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani in important roles.
