Bhubaneswar/New Delhi: The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) has delayed the UGC JRF/NET 2017 June Exam results due to a pending legal petition over answer keys of the exam filed in the Punjab & Haryana High Court in September last month.
An official notification released in this regard on the council's website - http://csirhrdg.res.in/, read, “The declaration of result of Joint CSIR-UGC JRF/NET June-2017 examination held on 18/06/2017 is delayed because of legal issues involved in the wake of the Judgement of Hon'ble High court of Punjab and Haryana in CWP 8015/2017 dated 28/09/2017.”
The UGC JRF/NET June 2017 examination was held on 18 June 2017 and the result was scheduled to be released by October. The online applications for the examination were filled from February 8 to March 24.
The council is yet to confirm any tentative date for the results but has assured that the same would be published in ‘due course of time’.
CSIR is expected to release merit list and cut-off on the same day. Two merit lists will be prepared — one for JRF and one for lectureship.
