IBPS SO 2017 notification to fill 1,315 posts: Exam pattern, key dates and more!

Bhubaneswar: IBPS has issued the notification for recruitment of 1,315 Specialist Officers in 2017-18.

Registration for IBPS SO 2017 will start from November 7 and end on November 27.

Vacancy Details

All the vacancies will be filled under 6 different posts as mentioned below:

(1)  I.T. Officer (Scale-I) - 120

(2) Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I) - 875

(3) Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) - 30

(4) Law Officer (Scale I) - 60

(5) HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) - 35

(6) Marketing Officer (Scale I) - 195

Mode of Exam

The common written exam for IBPS SO (Objective Tests), both Prelims and Mains, will be conducted online. However, for the descriptive test for the post of Rajbhasha Adhikari, notification is yet to be issued.

Other Details

Age: A candidate must have been born not earlier than November 2, 1987 and not later than November 1, 1997.

Application fee: SC/ST/PWD candidates will have to pay Rs 100 while students applying under unreserved category will have to shell out Rs 600.

The tentative dates for the Prelims exam are December 30 and 31, 2017. Similarly, the tentative date for Mains exam is January 28, 2018.
