New Delhi: The long wait of the students over the schedule of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations has finally ended, as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the datesheet of Classes 10 and 12 examinations today. This year the exams are scheduled to be held from May 4 to June 10.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has announced the much-awaited date-sheet of CBSE board exams of Classes 10 and 12. "Please be assured that we have done our best to ensure that these exams go smoothly for you. Wish you good luck!" the minister said.

CHECK DATE SHEET OF CLASSES 10 & 12:

The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 board exams will commence in offline mode from May 4 and conclude by June 10, 2021. On the other hand, the Practical exams are scheduled to be held from March 1. As per the announcement made by the Education Minister, the results of the CBSE Class 10, 12 board examination will be declared by July 15, 2021.

Once the Board uploads it at cbse.nic.in or on cbseacademic.nic.in tomorrow, students can check their board exam date sheets by following the below procedures.

Here's How You Can Check The Date Sheet:

  • Visit the official website of CBSE (cbse.nic.in).
  • Click on the new website option.
  • In the page, candidates need to click on the link which reads - "CBSE Class 10th and 12th datesheets".
  • Once candidates click on the link, they will be directed to another page where a PDF file will appear.
  • After this, candidates will have to select Class 10th or Class 12th as per their choice.
  • The date sheet of the exams will appear on the screen.
  • Download and Save the date sheet.
  • Candidates can also take a print-out for future reference.

The exams have been delayed this year due to the threat posed by coronavirus infection. Keeping in mind the pandemic break, CBSE has reportedly reduced the syllabus by 30% for board exams 2020-21.

In his recent interaction, the Union Education Minister also announced that CBSE will digitize 45-year records of the students. “Computerized affiliation system is to be based on data analytics and self-disclosure of schools. The records of all CBSE students who enrolled in the last 45 years will be digitalized. This will help citizens who enrolled after 1975 to get certificates easily,” Pokhriyal had said.

The CBSE will also train 10 lakh teachers to meet the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP).

BE AWARE OF THE FAKE DATESHEET

A fake date sheet of the board exams was recently doing rounds on social media. PIB fact check team took to Twitter to alert the students and said, "A date sheet for Class 12th and 10th Exams 2020-21, allegedly issued by the CBSE, is in circulation on social media. The date sheet is FAKE."
