Youth hacks father to death in Balasore

Balasore: A youth allegedly killed his father at Tentei Behera Sahi in the district over family feud on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Jayakrushna Mallick.

As per reports, there was a heated altercation between Jayakrushna and his son Sarat after he returned home in an inebriated condition last night.  Sarat attacked his father with an axe after the latter reprimanded him for drinking alcohol, sources said.

"Sarat hacked my father-in-law after a quarrel," said daughter-in-law of the deceased.

On getting information, a team Soro Police reached the spot and sent the body for post mortem.

Senior Police officials informed that already a probe is underway and the accused, who is absconding after the incident, will be nabbed soon.
