Youth critical after being shot by air gun in Bolangir

Patnagarh: A minor argument turned fatal for a youth after he was shot allegedly by a group of miscreants over suspected political rivalry in Indapur village under Patnagarh area of Bolangir district on Thursday.

The youth, identified as Lambodhara Mahakud, has been admitted to hospital in critical condition.

According to reports, Lambodhara was shot by an air gun allegedly by a group of persons in the village, who had reportedly got indulged in a clash over Panchayat elections in the area with the group to which Lambodhar belonged.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged in police station and police have started investigation into the matter.
