Woman’s body found in Delang forest; rape, murder suspected

Delang: A young woman’s dead body was found in Mangupada forest in Delang today.

Two ATM cards and one knife were also recovered near the woman’s dead body whose identity had not been established till filing of this report.

After receiving information, the local police and scientific team reached the spot and sent the body for a post mortem.

Sanjay Kumar Routray, a local, said, “We guess the woman might have been raped and murdered as the body was bare with lots of injury marks all over it.”

Daya Naik, Delang police officer, said, “A murder case has been registered and probe will begin.”
