Woman kills husband in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Family feud took an ugly turn when a woman allegedly hacked her husband to death in Chemanda village under Jamanakira police station in Sambalpur district on Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak Jadav.

According to sources, the incident took place on Thursday night when Jayanti attacked Deepak with a sharp weapon following a heated argument between the two over a family matter. Reportedly, Deepak died on the spot.

On getting information, police detained accused Jayanti and are interrogating her, the sources said.
