Woman hacked to death by brother-in-law over family feud in Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A woman was allegedly killed by her brother-in-law over family feud at Kishanpada village under Kuchinda block in Sambalpur district yesterday.

According to reports, the woman named Sukdei Kisan, aged 60 years, was reportedly hacked to death by her brother-in-law, Ram Kisan. The accused attacked the woman with an axe after a verbal spat between them turned ugly.

Following the incident, Kuchinda Police has arrested the accused and is interrogating him. Police station in-charge Prakash Karna and other police officials have also reached the spot for further investigation.
