Unrequited love: Man held for circulating woman’s obscene video

Gajapati: A 45-year-old man was arrested by Gajapati Police for allegedly uploading obscene pictures and videos of a girl with whom he was in a relationship. The accused has been identified as Kuber Pallai of Khallikote in Ganjam district.

As per reports, Kuber had created three fake Facebook accounts and uploaded the pictures and video of the girl after she married another man.

Gajapati SP Sara Sharma informed that as the accused was not tech savvy, he had taken the help of a person who helped him in uploading the photographs and video of the victim on social media.

“The accused had uploaded the obscene pictures and video with an intention of harassing the girl,” said Sharma.

Sharma further stated that the accused was nabbed after the victim’s family lodged a police complaint in connection with the incident recently.
