Bhubaneswar:  Police today detained three persons in connection with the murder of the security guard of a marble trading outlet on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar on Thursday.

According to sources, after investigating the handwritten note that was found near the body of the deceased, Police have detained the owner of the outlet along with two other employees.

According to sources, another person, whose name is on the handwritten note, is yet to be traced by the police.

"Based on the post-mortem report and information elicited after interrogation, the exact reason can be known," said Police Commissioner, Satyajit Mohanty.

Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased, who have been alleging murder, have threatened to gherao the Balianta Police Station if the accused is not nabbed within 48 hours, informed sources.

On Thursday, the body of the security guard with throat slit was found inside the kitchen room of a marble trading outlet near Pahala area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. The deceased has been identified as Gadadhar Swain, a resident of nearby Usuma village.
