Son kills father over property dispute in Jajpur

Jajpur: A man died after allegedly being attacked by his son over a property dispute at Kamarsahi village in Jajpur district Monday morning.

The accused -Pramod has been detained by the police.

According to reports, a verbal duel ensued between Pramod and his  father Radheshyam Behera over a proper-related dispute. The situation turned worse when the duo picked up lathis to attack each other. While Pramod was injured in the incident,  Radheshyam died on spot.

On being informed, police rushed to the spot and detained the accused

"The body has been sent for post mortem and interrogation is on to find out  what led to the attack," informed a senior police officer.
