Shocking! Man ends life after killing 3 minor daughters in Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A tribal man allegedly committed suicide after killing his three minor daughters at Ulibasa village, some 40 kms from Anandpur in Keonjhar district today afternoon.

The matter came to light after villagers spotted bodies of the three girls and their father Durga Sidhu lying in a pool of blood inside their house and informed police. It is suspected that Sidhu beat his three minor daughters to death following some issues and later committed suicide this afternoon.

According to neighbours, Sidhu was not mentally stable following the death of his wife recently. Though Sidhu was reportedly taking care of his three minor girls aged between six and nine years, it is still not clear why he resorted to such extreme.

All the three minor girls have injuries on their head, eye-witnesses said.

On getting information, police reached the spot and started a probe to ascertain under what circumstances the incident occurred.
