Police angle in missing Nayagarh students’ case

Nayagarh: The missing of two students of Industrial Training Centre (ITC) in Nayagarh took a new turn after police revealed that they were detained by Chauliaganj police in Cuttack over some cases.

The Commissionerate Police raided a place near the college to arrest Anil Sahoo against whom several cases are pending at Chauliaganj police station. His friend Pradeep Behera was also taken away by police for interrogation. Later, he was released.

The probe team however did not inform the college authorities about the action following which the authorities lodged a complaint at Khandapada police limits suspecting abduction.

Later, Cuttack police revealed the truth to Khandapada police station.
