OSAP Constable Arrested For ‘Misbehaving’ With College Girls

Rourkela: An Odisha Special Armed Police (OSAP) constable was arrested on Sunday evening for allegedly misbehaving with two college girls inside the OSAP 4th Battalion campus in Rourkela on Saturday.

The matter came to fore after a complaint was lodged in connection with the incident at Plant Site Police Station on Sunday.

Sources said that the two girls are students of Sushilavati Government Women's College who have been staying in the quarters of their relative in the OSAP campus.

As per the complaint, the girls were returning from college to the quarters on Saturday when the accused constable allegedly misbehaved with them.

However, the two girls managed to escape from the spot and informed the matter to their relative. Subsequently, a complaint was lodged at the Plant Site Police Station.

Meanwhile, police are interrogating the OSAP constable.
